Last night, Siri scared the crap out of me, I have my iPad Pro next to me, and one of Apples new "Hey Siri" commercials comes on, and when Neil Patrick Harris said "Hey Siri", it made my Siri start talking lol.

Your voice sounds like NPH?
"Hey Siri" only responds to my voice.

Im curious to that als well!Does it affect battery life enough to notice?
Is it not telling that we refer to this function of iOS as "her"?Thats what made me laugh afterwards, I trained her on my voice and half the time it doesnt work, but NPH says it once and she liked it haha

I am perfectly aware of that. Still, it's just a thing, not a person or living organism where a gender role would work.Default voice for Siri is female.
In the uk default Siri is British male, which is odd. I set mine to the Australian lady voice. The US girl Siri is a bit weird to me, I'm not sure why. Default Brit man Siri is a bit boring. He used to sound more silly/interesting.Default voice for Siri is female.
