CarPlay Siri unable to find any music through CarPlay

I just bought a new truck that is CarPlay enabled and found that Siri can’t find any music when asked through CarPlay, she replies “Let me find that”, then “Just a moment.” - and then “I couldn’t find that in Apple Music or in your library.” - but if I disconnect CarPlay and connect over BlueTooth she finds it just fine. I tried it on another car with CarPlay and it did the same thing. Any idea what could be causing this?

There is a current problem with CarPlay. Siri cannot always find songs and playlists and albums are greyed out on the vehicle screen.
