so I noticed on my iPhone 6 plus this morning that Siri and voice dictation no longer work.

I press the home button to activate Siri and you don't get the usual beep sound, more of a blank screen. Also the voice dictation app doesn't work, just hangs when you try to record your voice.

Mic is ok for phone calls. Also Apps like goole now doesn't work with voice commands.

I've done a DFU and reset back to 8.3 but still not working.

Has anyone else had this problem? Guess it's a hardware failure

Thanks.

I also have this problem and I just did a DFU and Siri still does not work.
Currently on 8.4
It did not work on 8.3 either.

Sounds more like a hardware problem to me, or a firmware problem. You'll still be under warranty now, so take it to an Apple Store, and they can either fix it or give you a replacement phone then and there. Obviously, make sure you backup your phone before taking it in!
