Just updated to watchOS 8. Now when I close a particular ring, Siri announces (loudly) from my watch that I closed the ring.

where in the watch app do I disable this? I never had such a setting enabled before.

Watch App - Training - Voice Feedback Toggle
I don’t see a Training option in the app. I even used the search bar and no results were returned.

Edit - I’m assuming you meant Workouts :) I found the option there and toggled it off. Will see how it works now. Thanks!

Ah… sorry, yeah I have my devices set to German since that‘s my mother tongue

Personally, I like this feature. However, it isn't consistent at how I get Voice Feedback. My problem is that usually announces through the speaker in my Apple Watch rather than through my AirPods Pro which I am using during my workout for music.

Interesting, this has been toggled on, but I’ve never heard any Siri announcement. My watch is on silent but I do use Powerbeat Pro for music and Workout Focus to silence notifications. In my opinion, this still shouldn’t mute Siri workout updates. NRC and Strava still give me audible cues…

Or maybe they come from my Apple Watch, my music is just so loud from a workout I never hear Siri workout announcements. That would be funny 🤣

Update: I went for a preset 1mi cool down walk after todays 5mi run and tried it. Didn’t hear a thing, but remembered my watch was on silent. Turned it on and sure enough, Siri spoke. I did have on my Powerbeats Pro and feel like the audio should have come through those instead of the Apple Watch itself.
