So I noticed the Siri voice on my phone disappeared today when I was using maps for directions. The sound of my music was lowering, but no voice was speaking. Did a test and when activating siri, no voice. All other sound on the phone is working.

So here's what I've tried:

Turned Siri off and on
Made sure voice feedback is set to always
Changed siri voice from american to austrailian (when I did this, she spoke one phrase in each language)
I've hard reset
I've activated siri (held home button until siri prompt comes up) and then pressed up on the volume button - volume is already all the way up
Confirmed mute switch is off (volume is ON)

After trying all that, still no Siri voice....

Any ideas? I'd really rather not do a wipe and restore... or worse... set up as new. :/

edit - I'm on iPhone 6s on 9.0.2

double edit - i've also tapped on the speaker icon in maps during a trip to make sure that it is not set to no volume, i've tried all volume settings.
