Siri won't play Beats 1

I have a wierd problem. Using Siri for playing songs on Apple music works except for Beats 1! Asking for any track usually works with the expected fail rate of miss understanding my request. But asking for Beats 1 always results in in an error message. 'Sorry, I can't connect to your music library right now'

This behavior is the same on my iPhone phone, iPad, Watch or AirPods..

Any ideas?

I have been on the phone today for an hour with Apple support. Got bumped around a fair bit between juniors, seniors, tech support, itunes support and then a long talk with some supervisor who escalated my case to the engineers. My problem was the first time they had heard about it. They'll get back to me in a few days.

In the mean time I have tried my old phone still on 10.2 and also reset all settings. This has to be some hiccup on my accounts backend.
