Siri won't work on iPad 3

For the past could of days Siri hasn't been working. Every time I try to use it, it says "sorry could you say that again". Also every time it shows the microphone full while I'm not even talking. I have attached a photo to show what I'm talking about. Anyone know how to fix this?

Not to sound cheeky, but have you tried turning Siri off and then on in Settings?

Yeah it didn't work. I don't use it that often but when I want to use it I'd like it to work. You know?
