Just tried to view mail while listening to a sirius channel, and it cuts it off.....This happens to everyone else right?

Yup, they have to update the app to do so...btw get pockettunes, way better than the sirius/xm app, and can access your sirius and 10,000 other channels, it's awesome for $4

I use Slacker and like Pandora, they updated right away--I guess it is not such a high priority with Sirius/XM.

Probably be a year before Sirius updates there app. They probably have meetings on the meeting about the meetings about updating.

Someone in another post said they heard one of the DJs on one of the Sirius/XM stations mentioned that an update is in the works, so, hopefully sooner than later.

How do we know that it is technically possible for XM app to multitask in iOS4? iOS4 provides limited set of services for "multitasking". What if none of those sevices does what XM needs?

It streams audio, what do you think all the other multitasking apps that stream audio do. The XM app doesn't come with a satellite receiver.

Because one of the service does do that.

Also pandora proves that.

On a side note O&A rule.

Yeah, they seem pretty much in bed with the music industry--and all the bureaucracy that goes along with that.
