Site is Crawling

When you say site do you mean the whole site (front page, guides, forums etc) or just the forums?

The forums are really slow - the front page less so - but a long way from being "snappy"
 
Hopefully only a server reboot is needed and not foreshadowing database problems.
 
For at least a couple of week, it seems. Two weeks ago I was out of town and trying to read and post with my touch, and it was virtually impossible to do either most of the time.
 
Forum Spy - a little slower then normal
UserCP - good lord is it ever going to load?
Forums - sluggish to load but I always blame Google Analytics

I've had to reload my page requests for some threads far too often.
 
All day I've been getting long pauses while browsing threads here. The main page of a forum loads pretty fast, but clicking on a thread results in sometimes a 5 second hang. No beach ball, just dead air. Safari or Firefox; no difference.

NYTimes.com loads like a bullet. Speedtest shows 24mbps. Server issue here?
 
same here, MacRumors always seems a little slow for me. But more so in the last day or so. Mostly in the forums section. Threads will hang for a few seconds before loading. Does this just mean that Macrumors is getting the trafic it deserves🙂
