    Hello all,

I am waiting to buy a mbp 15" when there is a new update.
I hesitating between an ssd 128gb or 500gb 7200rpm , so my question is the following:
How much space does mac osx takes in gigbytes after the initial boot ?
Will i still have enough space if i take the 128gb ssd ?
I am planning to install WoW also and maybe win7 in case i need it for non supported games on mac.

    Thx

I have OS X 10.6 on an 8 GB Flash drive. I can't remember if I have much space but I did remove a few of the voices like Alex.

Just make sure that before you start installing OS X that you do a custom install and remove all the junk, particularly the printer drivers, that you don't want. If you want to save more then simply don't install iLife that comes on the second disk. You can also stuff win7 and WoW on the SSD as well. Just keep an eye on temp files and your own user downloads/docs etc. Keeping it well manicured will give you more space.

If you want extreme weight savings I suggest you visit the MBA forum. They've got a guide for this sort of thing.
