Size Question

Can anyone tell me the space between the bottom of your 27 imac and the desktop? I need to know how many inches that is. I am looking at a speaker system and want to make sure the center channel fits between the desk and bottom of imac.

3 inches. Might not be the best idea if you plan to take up a lot of the space below the iMac, as that's where its air intake is to cool the computer.
