Size-Up

    the dock/menu bar at the bottom gets in the way, and causes the windows to overlap when i postiion them vertically, or when i try to do quarter screens

    any idea how i can fix this

    You could position the Dock somewhere else or disable the magnification effect.

    And you could make a descriptive thread title.

    yeah but is there a way to get Size Up to just compensate for it?

    Is Size Up a specific application or why do you mention this unclear term?

    And what do you mean by compensate? That the windows automatically resize?

    You can also hide the Dock (CMD+OPTION+D).

    Try the Dock on the left or right and see how you like that.

    oh sorry, my bad, yeah Size Up is a program to easily split your screen into half or quarters
