Anyone have this demo yet? First impressions? How's the frame performance?

Lost all interest in skateboarding since Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 back in the day. Couldn't get used to Skates control scheme at all.

What I want is an SSX for this generation.

Is there a demo on the Xbox too? I was going to get Skate 2 not long ago, but then they went and announced Skate 3 so I held onto my coins.

I stopped with the Tony Hawks games a while ago, bought Underground Remix 2 for the PSP and it's great and stuff, just feels like there doesn't have to be any more now!

Skate is nothing like Tony Hawk games. It's way more realistic.

I read that Skate 3 was developed on PS3 first and ported to 360. So Skate 3 is going to run much smoother than Skate 1 & 2 did. That's going to be a big plus for me because I hated how choppy Skate 2 was.

People are even saying that the XBox 360 has more slowdowns than the PS3.

One thing I do hope is that they kept the 30fps option like in Skate 2 because I really like how 30fps looks more like film where 60fps looks too smooth to me.

Just played the PS3 demo. It's really good!!! I can't wait to get this now. Yes, the framerate has improved a TON. It's not perfect, but it's very much more playable now. Good job EA!
