People seem to think Snow Leopard is old and unsupported (maybe it really is?)... You may have noticed the latest SketchUp no longer works on Snow Leopard 10.6.8... Luckily there's a trick to make it work.
    1. Download and mount the image.
    2. Drag and drop that folder
    3. Right click on "SketcUp" and choose "Show Package Contents"
    4. Open the folder "Contents"
    5. Open the file "Info.plist" in TextEdit and find "10.7" and replace it with "10.6" or "10.6.8"... You can use ⌘F to quickly find the string. Save the file and you're good to go. The app now runs

WARNING: This works for now, but you never know if it still will in the future. Keep the current .dmg safe.

    Have fun!

plugins from SKP 8 to SKP 2013

Am using 10.6.8 and did what you said with the info.plist version change. I then copied my plugins from my old Sketchup Pro 8 folder and pasted them into the new plugin folders location on my Mac. None of them show up however when I launch SKP 2013. Can't figure out why not. Was wondering if you experienced same issue.

    Thanks.

    Help !

Hello, I have installed SketchUp 10.6.8 system in 2013, like you said, but I have a problem with the software renderer. I have already installed the render [in] SketchUp 2013, but there is no window in Sketchup plugin. My guess is that somewhere I need to change the settings render [in] but how to enter the program folder? in the spotlight as if it does not exist. what to do?

    thanks !
