Next Gen iPod Touch/iPhone 6C

Don't be mislead by the flash. Who is to say Apple couldn't get the features of TruTone into a single round flash?

These leaks look relatively consistent with the previous dimensional drawings (which also had a round flash).

Hmmm, several things I noticed on my first passthrough:

  1. Round flash: could easily be an upgraded two tone flash, admittedly
  2. Protruding camera: Been an iPod characteristic only thus far, and seems out pf place kn the premium iPhone product.
  3. Skimpy microphone on the bottom: Even the iPhone 5 has a 10 hole grill for the microphone that sits next to the headphone jack?
  4. Weird feature on the rear bottom right hand corner: What is that? A hook/connection for a wristband ala iPod Touch? It is visible on the physical device shown, and on the schematics of the rear.

Speaking against myself, I do note that there is a sim card slot detailed in the schematics in the normal position, so it is most likely an iPhone. However, it leaves the above questions unanswered.

Would also like to leave a comment for the editors in line with previous criticisms. This is much more a rumour than and dreamt up renderings, which are not rumours at all. Such stories should be relegated to the back page, so to speak, because they can't really even be classified as speculative, but more like artistic interpretation. Just a constructive suggestion.

Liking the frequency of the reports coming out. Just waitin for the parts to start leaking so we have a good estimate on the release date :)

That was my first thought too. But I actually really like the design of the HTC One, so I'd be okay with this being what the next iPhone looks like (though I prefer the rendering from the other post with the glass back).

I don't want the next iPhone to be an HTC One ripoff. I expect it will be a cross between the iPod touch and iPad.

If iPhone parts are now being leaked, surely its just a matter of time before an "iWatch" is spotted too. That is if such a device exists.

It is possible that Apple might ditch the true tone flash or at least re-design the bulb. They could switch to Xenon. Either way, none of it matters until we get an actual announcement.

yes i think if these are real..that iphone will be even longer than iphone 5..so enough its enough

Perhaps some of this design will be covered by Saphire. That might explain the protruding camera lens.

3 Pictures taken of a computer screen showing a word document on what looks to be Word 2003 and as commented by others probably running on an XP machine. I have no clue about the validity, but I certainly hope that our iPhones are not being made in a factory driven by 10 year old computers. That alone is of more concern to me that the plausibility of the photo of a screen being a real iPhone.

I would be more concerned about the 95% of the worlds ATM's that are running XP.

I dont like this design now, but perhaps i will when its announced hehe

If this is any similar to the 5C design. Like those speaker holes and all that. The design is awful. But with metal, i don't know what that will change. We'll see i guess.

I thought the same thing a little bit. Perhaps like the concept earlier today the Sapphire would be laid on top making the camera flush but it doesn't really fit since the device in those images has a rounded edge.

Protruding Camera!

Please don't do that stupid thing like with the iPod touch or several android phones where the camera sticks out! Leave the phone the same thickness and use that space for battery!

What are you even talking about? What difference does it make to you? What difference does it make for the end product?

You realize they are likely using old equipment that was put in place the same time as the factory equipment. That kind of industrial hardware is not updated very often.

You wouldn't know that, however...

What is awful about round edges and speaker holes?

The level of amateur drama around here is laughable.

This leak is legit for me because the prototype is made like the drawings posted a pair of days ago.... This is the 5,7' model ( if you measure the lighting connector for proportion you will find the exact size of the 5,7 on the leaked drawings).... The protruding camera also confirm my opinion: on the leaked drawings the camera protrudes on the 5,7' inch model....
I have only a question already exposed in another topic: there is a button on the top of the device and another's do the right side above the SIM card slot? Maybe finally we have an sd slot?

It will be nice NOT to increase only the height again and it will be really impressive to add an edge to edge sapphire display cover bezel free

If these images are real the width is being increased as well as the height.

If the new iPhone looks like the current gen iPod Touch, then it would be perfect.

but seriously, what's with the top and bottom pieces, these are ugly to begin with, but adding matching color to it kinda emphasizes "hey look, this part is separated from the rest of the body!!! look me look me!!!"

Please Apple, what happen to the simple design of 3GS? that thing was a beauty with one piece back and one piece front (maybe the edge bezel is the third piece but that's somewhat arguable" and THAT WAS IT. iPhone 4 and 4S was a step back in design IMHO, but they were OK. two glasses and one mid frame, not bad.

5 and 5S? the front looks very clean, especialy with the touch ID on 5S, superior. The back? meh, if it was one piece of solid casing, it would be way better.

Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't like the back of the current gen iPhones. In fact, I would go as far as to say that I hate it.

Why do actual Apple rumors always end up on the 2nd page, while stuff like analyst speculation / lawsuits / amateur renderings / new products from competitors go on the front page?

Page hits. All about those page hits. And those analyst speculation / lawsuits / amateur renderings / new products from competitors get lots of page hits supposedly.

iPhones are put together by hand.
Although they look like they were clarified by hi-tech computers - it's just Chinese hands, tiny Chinese hands.

I like this photo from 极客村

"The camera lens is really popping out of the body, it seems like Apple can't escape the problems of slim designs. //@C科技: I was afraid to post it but you are to do it, nice work, I admire you!"
