I'll believe it when Bloomberg posts a questionable, yet sensationalist, article that incites rage and causes readers to demand a retraction. That's when you know it's "true"... right?... right?...
Meanwhile, in the Real World, my poor bank account and stupidly-loaded credit cards are screeching in agony at the mere threat of the iPad Mini 5. I so desperately want that device. It will address so many points of friction I have in my life right now with regards to reading certain texts. My precious iPhone SE is too small, MacBook is an overkill of distractions (even in browser full screen mode), 9.7/10/10.5 whatever "iPad (new)" is too big and uncomfortable... Kindles can't access Safari Books Online (the O'Reilly service) and they're all about Amazon snooping, and the moment I get a non-iPad reader it'll be hit with rootkits and rendered useless in less than 10 minutes (even Windows now has a longer "life expectancy" on the Internet; never thought I'd see that day).
I'd rather not do the Mini 4 (which is an awesome device, anyway!) knowing it's not long for this world on future updates, with that A8 chip.

My 7r old loves her Mini 4, tho.
I want iPad Mini 5. I ache for it. Please be $299 or less (I'm dreaming, ok? Let me dream. I know they'll still price it at $329 because... "Apple").
