. new design possible
. new color
. better feature upgrade
. 5G
. tons things apple didnt show on event will backup 2019

It look like 18k gold apple watch that they took off production line before , that gold look ugly to me those

I'm opting to stay one year behind going forward. Annual phone improvements are tiny compared to a few years ago. I don't see anything of substantive value for my needs that makes the XR, XS or XS Max appealing enough for me to pre-order.

I‘m using a 6S Plus, so currently no need and no reason for me to upgrade.

See you next year.

Usually, I'm all for the latest and greatest..but the XS just seems..meh. I have an X now and it doesn't seem worth it going through the trouble of selling it and upgrading my plan. I mean, the spec page looks identical besides the camera and processor. Yeah, I'll just wait until 2019 or maybe even 2020? This X is seriously a beast and I love it.

I’m honestly on the fence. I have a 7 Plus 128GB and it runs fantastic. I just upgraded to iOS 12 and it seems even better so far. I really want the new design without these damn bezels but the cost has me at a crossroads. I’m confident I’ll keep the next phone for a minimum of two years again... possible even longer. But damn that $1200-$1300 price tag is tough to swallow when I buy all my phones outright. FaceID has me on the fence too. I do love my TouchID.

On the other hand, getting $400-$450 for my phone helps a lot. Getting rid of these bezels. A much bigger screen in the same form factor. Better camera. Faster. Etc etc. is all awesome. I’ll think it over for the next next day or so but I’m honestly not disappointed overall with my 7 Plus.

I was always going to skip, seeing as I've only had the X for 6 months.

But like this time last year, I hope sales aren't great - prices didn't go down because Apple got away with the X RRP...I only got it as I saved $600 through a staff plan.

But if enough people snub it (which they won't), then that 'don't rip us off!' message may hit home...or not...

Get the XR.

after reading the comments here "iphone x still a beast" "very fast" they gonna rush a slow down the iphone X software upgrade mighty quickly. I would not be surprised if in ios 12 iphone x is artificially slowed down to increase the performance gap since A11 is still a beast... thoughts ?

[doublepost=1536812062][/doublepost]iOS 12 already? I thought the official version won't be out till Friday, 09/14/2018, is that the last beta?

My honest opinion would be to just keep your 7 plus til next year. 2019 they’re suppose to be changing it up.
