Skip OP on News Discussion board

When reading a news article on the front page, the discussion link at the bottom goes to the same content in OP form. I don't think I am alone in that I tend to read the entire article and then click the comment section so being linked to the same article is redundant.

I think clicking [X comments] should automatically take you to the second post in a thread if it exists.

I see your point, but I personally don't have a problem with scrolling the page down.

It works if you scroll down to top rated comments and click a username. Maybe clicking comments to go to the second post could be integrated.
