Skylake soon, iMacs soon?

    The 95w chips are coming first -- likely at Gamescon in August according to WCCF sources.

    The 65w chips that the iMac will likely use will come a little later -- September according to the most recent rumor I can find.

    My guess is we'll see the update in October if the 65w chips are announced in September.

    Making it 25 months between updates for the poor 21" model. :(

    Which doesn't even have Thunderbolt 2 at this point. Kind of disappointing if that's the size you need honestly.

    Agreed. I know Intel has been slow with the chips, but they could've done new GPUs, fusion drive standard, updated ports, or at least a price drop so we aren't paying the same price as when these were new 2 years ago.

    Agreed I guess they are putting all their chips on the revamped skylake models

    Yea but look on the bright side, Apple are still charging top dollar for old kit. :rolleyes:
