The current skype app is not universal and while it will run on the ipad, is ugly. Has anyone heard rumors on whether they may be updating it for the ipad2?

Does Skype ever announce anything ever? I wish somebody would come and eat their lunch. This company sucks!

does it work well on the ipad tho?

It works on the iPad fine. The downside is if your iPad is in landscape mode and you open Skype it is only visible in portrait more in the little screen.
