That's just plain old Apple is good, everything else is bad crap.

What? 😕 FaceTime quality is generally seen as better on Apple devices compared to some other third party services. So if you only need to communicate with other Apple users why use something else? If you need to communicate with others, then, sure something else would come into play. Again, simple personal needs, nothing really beyond that.

Dude whatever u just stated is known to everyone, its not a secret facetime has issues, even tho i barely have any, i do hear of people having them. On the other hand i believe in the company's values, and thats why i support all their features and i try to keep everything under one roof for the sake of simplicity. That's not what you said at all. You said you switched when "MICROSOFT bought Skype". Not "I switched when Apple released FaceTime for simplicity"

I'm a Nintendo person too. Microsoft or don't won't be getting my money anytime soon.
I know there are ads in skype, but I would imagine that hardly pays for the cost to run it.

Skype makes money from skype in and skype out services. The free stuff is just to get you into a position where you'll be enticed by the skype in/out services. They also include some skype credits when you buy an office 365 subscription.
