So in an effort to save some money I am looking into using Skype to make outgoing calls, mostly to my parents who do not have At&t.

I only have the 450 min/month package since all of my calls are to people on at&t, outside of my parents.

Since they have alltel (verizon) they can add 10 numbers to their free numbers deal.

Is it possible to use the skype app and get have the same number show up other than the "0000" every time I call them? it doesnt need to be my number, just something they can add to the list.

Have you thought about google voice ? Works great for me and you can set it up so you do not have to consume your minutes. You put your google voice number in your "A" list.

Within the Skype desktop app there is a way to set the Caller ID that is displayed when you call someone, you just need to set that to your Mobile number
