Skype Rolls Out Free Video Messaging to Skype for Mac and iOS

I'm not a paying customer - I still have no ads. I dont even see where it would be possible for ads to be shown.

The only one place is where it says 'blocked plugin' however thats just the skype video clip on how to make calls.

For what its worth:

- Never ever seen an advert in the Mac version of Skype
- Never ever paid for Skype.
- Used it for the best part of 5 years on OS X.

There is ad on my windows machine but not my mac. funny how these things happen.

I had to laugh when MS is using an iphone for a Skype commercial now. You would think they would help cross market their own products.

So done with Skype. Total crapware. Every version was worse than the one before it. I stopped using it altogether about a year ago.

It was great program and very reliable until MS bought it. As with hotmail - went down the tubes.

i'd have probably been excited if they had focused on the app, the app is total crap, hangs a lot and is really slow, it's a good thing in a bad packaging. i hope they start working on it, make it a bit colorful, make it run fast and fluid, add more options and voila! it's the best app!

free video messaging, wow. that'd be great, i guess microsoft hired some new people, they're bringing updates to almost each and every product that belongs to micrsoft.
