Skype vs Hangouts for video calling

Just wondering which works better for you in terms of video calls.

I have had issues with both in that there are times when I call someone who is not in the app they won't get the notification that I am calling them even though they have notifications turned on.

Anyone else experience this?

I prefer the versatility of Hangouts.
You can seamlessly drop in and out of a session using any combinations of mobile devices and desktop computers... even using one Google account for multiple devices simultaneously.

The ability to conference in a voice phone to a Hangout is amazing
Also, the ability to broadcast the hangout on a Youtube channel is amazing.
