Skype won't use my Wecam on my eMac

Hello i have a eMac 1 ghz and 1 gb of RAM and i always use skype and i like to do video chats. My webcam is a Microsoft VX 5000 and it works great on my Macbook but when i use it on my eMac i get this message after i use it for about 5 secs but there is not other application using the webcam.
