The moment you installed it, you probably allowed Skype to connect with your contacts.....so, what problem do you have right now?

How do I stop it, The problem is I want to stop it.

I don't think you can...maybe delete the app and than install it back, but during setup this time you don't allow it to connect with your contacts automatically. But I have to admit, very strange request you have there 🙂
