Is this going to be possible with the Skype app now that we have a front facing camera?

Since Facetime is an 'open' platform, Skype and other programs will be able to work with it IN THE FUTURE. It won't be available now but hopefully soon.

I doubt it would happen before 2012 if ever seeing that Skype still did not release iPad screen compatible version, which is much easier to do than to add video capabilities to the client.

I think it will happen relatively soon, actually, before 2012 for sure, probably by years end. I think that lots of developers will take advantage of the new camera and enable something like this soon.

I'm sure it will be soon. This is one of the main features of the iPhone 4 so apple will push for Skype to do it
