Skyrim & Steam ( Modding ? )

Can Skyrim on steam be modded ?

I ask because I cannot seem to find a hard copy that isn't attached to Steam.

I assume it must work as there are loads of mods on Nexus for it.

Ah I see the modding is done via the Steam Workshop, that will teach me to check first before posting.

You should check out http://nexusmods.com too. They have mods for the original Skyrim and the Special Edition

I am aware of the nexus mods just needed to know if they work with games that only run under steam, never seen a copy of Skyrim that doesn't.
