S surrealhope macrumors newbie Aug 29, 2009 #2 I got the same error if I launched SL setup from within OS X, but it worked fine when I held Option key during startup (same as bootcamp) and selected to boot from my ext. drive

C64 macrumors 65816 Aug 30, 2009 #9 does the partition have a guid partition table, so it's bootable?
