Hi, not sure there is a solution to this problem
I basically use my iPhone as an iPodTouch (with more features 🙂), so it's activated, jailbroken (and one of these days it might be unlocked ). The trouble is that the sleep button never worked. The only way I can restart the iPhone completely is by waiting for the battery to empty itself. I guess I voided my warranty, and even if I viriginize the iPhone, I cannot explain to Apple how I know that a button I'm not supposed to have used is actually dead
This is not a big big problem, but I just wondered if it would be possible to create an app that would restart the iPhone, or that would simulate some input from the sleep button. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot!
