Sleep problem AFTER SMC update

Whenever I try use the remote to sleep (hold play) the screen dims then lights up and the mac decides to sleep 30 seconds later🙁 Infact all sleep modes now take their to activate including power button and apple menu🙁 is there a downgrader?

BTW: I've got a 20" C2D standard

update: tried resetting permissions and zapping PRAM, nothing works...
