Sleep script.

i want a script that make my mac go to sleep.

i want to use it for transmission so that when it finishes downloading it goes to sleep.


i don't know how to do applescripts.

Why not just set your Energy Saver to sleep after a period of inactivity? That's what it's designed to do. It won't sleep during an active download, but after the download finishes and there's no activity for a while, it should sleep fine. If it doesn't, there may be other things keeping it from sleeping.

it seeds the torrent after it finishes downloading.

isn't seeding a torrent make it active ?

Yep, it would, if it were active. So you want it to sleep after downloading, even though it's seeding? Why not just disable seeding?

Transmission > Preferences > Bandwidth > Upload Rate: 0 KB/s
