    Hey everyone,

I just upgraded to an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.0.2. I always use the built in clock application to stop playing music after fifteen minutes when going to sleep. On my old iPhone 5 running the same iOS the music would stop. No issue. The music also stops on my iPhone 6 as expected. The difference is that the music app acts as if it was closed. It doesn't remember what song was playing or its place on the track that was playing. When I open it I would have to click shuffle again stead of just clicking play.

Does anyone know why the timer doesn't just pause anymore? It now just closes the music app and doesn't rennver its position. This isnt life altering. But in the mornings I would normally just play where it left off and I cannot do that anymore.

    Thanks for any ideas.

Would I be correct in calling this a bug? The behavior has changed from what it's always been.
