Anyone notice sleep tracking isn't very accurate? I came from a fitbit, I know having used one for years I average around 6.5hrs sleep. Then I got AW, been tracking my sleep now for almost a month 7.45hrs average. I thought my sleep had improved but wasnt convinced, stuck the fitbit and AW on last night, Fitbit 4.5hrs, AW 5.45hrs, It was also so stupid as I woke turned off sleep, played with my phone for an hour yet still asleep apparently according to AW, the Fitbit recognized immediately when I was awake.

Are you using the Apple Watch sleep app or a third party? I find other apps like SleepWatch and Pillow are more accurate.

Try Sleepwatch as already mentioned above, been using it for several months now and it works well for the most part. Lots of data throughout the night and even manages to pickup on when you snooze during the day 😲

Yup, finding the same thing.

I guess it'll improve, but having come from FitBit too, seems a step backwards in sleep tracking - massive leaps forward in every other way though :)

I was about to recommend AutoSleep its full of data. I am very impressed with it.
Thanks for the recommendations. Installed Sleep++, AutoSleep and Pillow - now just sticking with Pillow. Seems most similar to what I used to get on a FitBit - Awake, REM, Light and Deep. Deep is showing figures far higher than I used to get on FitBit, but not losing any sleep over it 😜
