I know what Shutdown does.
How does Sleep differ from just closing the lid on my Macbook Pro.
I see the screen go dark when i select Sleep, but when I open the cover it seems the same as when I just close the lid.

Does Sleep conserve power better than just shutting the cover?

Thanks.

Joe

As mentioned by CWallace,
Apple>Sleep = Closing the Lid

So, no- sleep does not conserve power better than closing the lid.
