Sleep &Wake button is a little to flat

So right out the box I slapped a case on my i5 and today I removed it and I noticed that my sleep and wake button felt a little too flat and I compared it to my other i5 and I could definitely feel and see the difference. Now if I go to the apple store and exchage it for another one would they give me a refurb or a new one?

Who knows. Only Apple. I guess if the button still works, is it worth the risk? Did you buy AppleCare? I did. 2 years of coverage on function failures. Personally I don't worry about how something might be a mm off. I just want it to work.

Thanks man. I did not get apple care yet but I have 30 days to do buy it right?

They would not swap out my phone for this very problem. So frustrating. I think I'm just gonna try and fix it myself
