i used sleepless on my aluminum powerbook. its an app that keeps the computer from sleeping when you shout the lid. it has options to turn the feature on and off. it wont turn off. this sucks and i really need to get my mac to sleep so i dont screw it up by bumping it around when traveling.

Have you tried quitting/killing/deleting the program, or do you still need to keep it around for whatever other reason?

that really dosnt make any sense that you cant trash that app.

it may be because it is stored in your lib or in the sys pref menu

just a thought

id say set up a password to come up to wake the comp from sleep

then shut the lid, look for the sleep light and then see if it asks for the PW when you open it back up
