I usually use my iPhones naked but I've been thinking about getting a sleeve for my iPhone 7 to use occasionally, hopefully with room for one credit card.

Locally (Canada) I haven't found many but online there are a few. One that I came across is made by mujjo (link to their collection).

Anyone has any experience with these? Are they good quality? Also, are they typically soft or really hard leather? I prefer soft (malleable) leather. Any others I should look at?

Also, I can't think of a reason why not but would it be safe to assume sleeves designed for the 6 would fit the 7 perfectly?

TIA

lol funny you should ask. I love mujjo sleeves. Have had a couple since the 6 (one tan that I have never used and one black that I've used but still looks amazing after two years). Leather is really soft. Fits the 7 perfectly.

Since I got an apple battery case I might not get a ton of use out of them anymore. I'm going to miss the pocket that used to hold my debit card.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I just ordered one from Amazon, not the mujjo. I'll test it out when I get it and if it doesn't meet my expectations I'll look at others. Other than mujjo I've heard about one made by Sena (ultraslim with one card slot), not sure if it's any hood. They're taking pre-orders for it.

I have Sena Heritage Ultraslim w/no card slots. Ages to a beautiful color. Very durable, soft inner liner.

This link is for + Models from 6 to 7

Thanks. I just placed an order last night for a Sena ultraslim wallet for the 7 in black. It's not "Heritage" but it says it's a new style (?). It looks like it has a slot for one credit card. It shipped today, I'm looking forward to trying that one out.

Edit: this is the one I ordered: http://www.senacases.com/ultraslim-wallet-iphone-7

Wish the Sena had room for 2 cards. What's the main attraction for using a sleeve? I'm just curious cause I've always thought they looked a little cumbersome to use.

In all honesty I've never been into sleeves before. I do know that I love my iPhone naked (I hate cases and screen protectors) and occasionally I need to place my phone in less than ideal spaces, exposing it to the elements, which is why I'm getting a sleeve.

An example; I can slip the phone in it along with a credit card, throw it in my backback and go cycling.

THe most impressively made one that I know of is from CalypsoCrystal.

Some of those sleeves are very nice, and pricey. May have to look at getting one at some point to try out. Thanks for the suggestions.

Just place my order for Hardgraft. Saw the pictures and fell in love with it. I'll post some pictures when it gets in.

All sleeves get in the way of using the phone.
With sleeves, you take the naked phone out before using it.

I used sleeves exclusively with my BlackBerrys, and addiction that lasted 10+ years.

Some of those Sena cases are gorgeous. I like the Heritage UltraSlim cases, in sage color. Mmmmmm...

I picked up a Black leather Knomo case for my 7+ yesterday... lovely soft and supple leather. It was pretty pricey though at £29.99, however still £20 cheaper than the storm grey Apple 'back cover' I bought and don't particularly love.

I think sleeves are a good option for people who like their phone nude (oh-err!) - for me, I am in an office most of the time, so it means more often than not I get to enjoy my phone as Apple intended - I can then just slot it in the case when I want to pocket it and go out-and-about.

I've always found that purely naked, no matter how careful I am, pocketing my phones ends up with them getting abrasions from microscopic pocket-diamonds (they must be diamond because they really seem to scratch my stuff!).

I always put my phone in a dedicated pocket, never with anything else.. just the phone and the pocket diamonds! So with a sleeve, my hope is the sleeve will take the punishment and the phone will be left pristine!

You have to get it out if the case before it can be used. It encorages naked phone use and this years are very slippery. Its bulky. Every one i have ever tried was in my drawer in a week.

Great. Thanks for you input but you seem to have posted on the wrong thread. This one is titled "Sleeve ideas for the 7". I think you're looking for the "I don't like sleeves" thread.

I'm curious if you guys know, would a phone with a Peel case fit in one of these sleeves? Peel is just one example but the point is an ultra thin cover. I was thinking I might find one of these that will hold a few cards but let me use my phone ultra thin outside the sleeve. Best of both options maybe.

I ordered a BSE skin for the back to protect it. I'm sure the peel may work, but you'll probably have to break the sleeve in order to remove the phone easily

I guess you're not a sleeve person then. I'm not sure I am either, but decided to give it a try. I like the HardGraft one because it can be a wallet too and the pictures after it breaks in looks gorgeous. Just got a shipping notice from DHL and should be here on the 26th.
