I'm really liking this top skin on my new 13" MacBook Pro. Gives it a lot more grip, and looks pretty sharp, IMO. Just installed it yesterday.

Cork: used for wine bottles and cheap flooring. Why someone would want to put that on a premium computer is beyond me but each to their own! Glad you're happy with it?

I agree with the first poster if he was saying that a premium computer shouldn't have a cheap skin on it. But this is a thin layer of real cork wood that has the cork texture and smells like wood. No two of these are alike. It greatly increases the grip, and protects the top from scratches or damage. And it can be removed with no damage to the MacBook.

I prefer the computer's raw natural smell :D. On the plus side it'd make a great drinks coaster!

I can't stand veneers, reminds me of cheap furniture and cork just reminds me of 70s kitchen flooring. As a designer and occasional carpenter it just makes me cringe... Now if it were an entire replacement case made out of a cool zebrawood or something, I'd appreciate the craftsmanship and it'd at least lend some class. But stickers no, not a fan of skeuomorphism and faux coverings.

Anyway, do you work for them or something? Seems an odd thread to just promote this particular brand?

Living up to your name. You know what though, this replacement touchbar MBP was the worst smelling computer I've ever had. It had this chemical smell that lasted for almost 3 days after coming out of the box.
