Plustek OpticFilm 7200 is a good choice @ $190 Amazon

The Plustek OpticFilm 7200 or 72001 are good choices and very reasonable at $190 for the 7200 and about a $100 more for the 7200i thru Amazon. I have also had good luck on EBay which has a lot of scanners on it and you can also LEARN a lot about them on EBay. Also I always go to www.c-net.com and look at the reviews on any electronic stuff a lot of info easy to access.

I could have sworn that I looked at the Plustek's and that they weren't compatible with the MAC or had very outdated software that wouldn't work well.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Josh

Slidesnap

My photo scanning company, A Digital Shoebox, has developed a machine, the Slidesnap Pro, that can make 140 high resolution slide scans in under 5 minutes. There is no other scanner available that can compete. And you don't even have to remove the slides from their carrousel. If anyone is looking for something like this, I urge you to follow through to the website for specs etc.: http://adigitalshoebox.com/slidesnap
