slider cases with iphone 4

After all the issues with sand and dirt stuck in the cases cracking the glass, has anything changed? Is it safe to still use a slider case with my iphone?

You meaning a case that slides on like the Incase Slider? If that is your question then there is no issue with them. I've used one pretty much constantly (except a couple weeks with a bumper) since I got my iPhone 4 almost 7 months ago and I've had zero problems with it.

ive had my Incase Slider a few weeks now. I thought the same thing, that dirt and what not would work its way into the case. I have notice a small amount of dirt, but it never gets under the slider itself.

I do take it off every couple of weeks and give it a good cleaning.

I have the Incase slider case. It did scratch the back glass. Used it only for a month, and took it off for that reason.

The iPhone 4 incipio feather case works pretty well. It snaps onto the iPhone. No scratches.
