Slideshow and restart message

Using Leopard on an Imac 20" with 2gb ram.

Started using a slideshow which draws from a 2.5 gb file of jpegs in iphoto and I'm doing a random mosiac which can last up to 3 hours before sleeping.

In the past 4 days I have received a "restart" msg and the slideshow is frozen on a picture. I reboot and asks if I want to send error to apple...I do.

This same freeze and necessary restart has happened 3 times in the last 4 days.

Any suggestions before I call apple care?
