A good friend has asked me to make a fancy slideshow for his wedding. Is their any better/more advanced software than iPhoto for this purpose? I am looking for something that may have better tools for integrating and mixing music into the slideshow.

Thanks in advance.

iMovie and Final Cut Pro/Express are able to do a lot of the things iPhoto does. It takes quite a bit more time however, but it is able to do more advanced stuff.

I made a slideshow for my own wedding using just iPhoto. It works fine if you aren't mixing songs.

iMovie does this exactly. Most people think of importing video into iMovie, but it works equally well with photos and you can create great text pages, text overlays, etc.
