I noticed the slightest lag on my Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen).

Here’s some swiping back and forth.

What’s weird, is the light is flashing on the ATV when I click the remote…but this new remote feels laggy.

Coming from the 1st Gen Apple TV 4K it just feels slightly slower. I’ve read all the articles about interference/etc…but the box registers the click when I click.

So is the newer 4K TV just slightly sluggish compared to the older one?

I bought my first 2nd gen 10 days ago and havent noticed lag.
I turned off swipe for a while but turned it back on.
I’m not sure I gained anything upgrading except a new remote and a couple new user options.

Not directly related to your issue, but if you’re still within your return window, return it and get the new one (3rd gen). You’ll have basically more storage and more money in your pocket. No brainer
