When my computer goes to sleep and I have to type my password into the box to get it to start up again, it always seems to make me type it in twice. I put it in and press enter and then the box flashes and then i have to enter it again. Why does it do this?

When the box 'flashes', does is look kind of like it's shaking side to side?

It sounds to me like the program senses an incorrect password. It could be that your initial keystroke is not being recognized. Perhaps you're being a little too quick, not allowing enough time for the computer to wake.

Does the same thing happen on log-in after fresh restart?

Its not acting like I got my password wrong. It just flashes off and comes back on. It happens after a restart too, yes
