Great review! Your setup looks awesome and your install looks perfect!

In regards to cases, it does function with the Magpul and Rinke Slim in this review:

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1848694/

Having said that, you are correct about case compatibility. I think this glass will have a hard time with cases that are aggressive around the lip. I tried the Benks with my CandyShell Grip and it was a definite no go.

Benks is sending me a sample of their case compatible glass that's 0.15 mm thin. It's not edge-to-edge, but it should work with all cases. I'll review it in a few days.

Nice looking setup. Very, very nice. As soon as the revised Benks black screen protectors are released, I'm getting one.

I looked through your post a couple of times, looking for the name of that case. Did I miss it or did you not put it in your writeup? Either way, what is the case you have and where did you get it.

Definitely agree with the aggressive lip part. There is a very very very small area to work with when it comes with cases. In my opinion I love it because it goes hand in hand with my cases

Thank you, I updated the thread with my case!

This looks awesome.

I'd like a black one, but word on the street is it's a mixed bag whether you get the one with the outline around the screen or not, so I guess I won't be buying.

It feels just as awesome as it looks too! In regards to the black, I would assume its only noticeable if the screen isnt on. I assume once its on that those lines wouldn't be noticeable. Not that big of a deal if you ask me personally, but I also understand how it would bother some people

For people wondering just how thin it is, look at this image I took

That should speak for itself. The fact that it survived and held up a full on concrete drop should let you know that in no way shape or form does the slimness sacrifice any of the durability or quality of the protector.

You were lucky that the exposed bottom did not get scratched .
Thanks for all the info.

This just shows you that you don't have to sacrifice quality to make a slim good protector! As for the bottom, yeah I appreciate the fact that nothing happened! Lol

Do you have dust building up in between the screen protector and the curved edges of the screen?

Need to know if this works with Powersupport Air Jacket.

Looking at pictures, it appears the Air Jacket doesn't have much of a lip. If that's the case, it should work.

A more aggressive raised lip, that sits inwards, will most likely not work.

Nope. No lint, no dust, nothing. My phones constantly in my pocket and I have yet to see anything accumulate on the sides. The glass wont raise on these glass protectors from Benks so I dont think the corners will ever have dust stuffed inside. I will update as time passes

Judging from the pictures, it looks exactly like my case and it shouldn't pose a problem at all. Only cases that are aggressive around the lip of the iphone will give issues.

Remember you also can use the 0.15mm

This is a good combo of case and screen protector. I went ahead and bought both and I like it a lot so far. I did get the black protector and it does show the screen lines when the screen is off, but it doesn't bother me at all. I don't feel it's that bad, and you don't see it at all when the screen is on.

Great recommendation snsking

I just took my Air Jacket off to clean it out and am really wondering if this will work with the AJ, mainly due to the process of putting the AJ on the phone and what it entails.

I suspect you could put the Benks on while the AJ is actually on the phone, but I don't know that if you ever took the AJ off you'd be able to get it back on.

Good feedback! #

Excellent installation! Looks perfect.

Did you do hinge method, or just eyeball it?

They claim to have a lifetime warranty. How does it work with Benks?

Ordered white for my daughter. She has my hand me down Space Gray and misses her white front.

I am still rocking my iMos. Thicker, but I think, as maybe you see here, may be better. Both of these are Gorilla Glass. Benefit of Benks is the warranty and ships quickly in the States

I just eyeballed it :D

Not sure on how the lifetime warranty works. Let me check out the website and see if I find some information

Unfortunatly only in the states.

Did you guys notice that Benks has a reasonable priced reversible USB lighting cable? I supported a Kickstarter project that was selling for $34 each!. I assume their retail is going to be much higher.

If Benks works as stated, they will sell a bunch.

Interesting, just read the site and it looks like it ONLY charges. Sneaky.

Is this the one you're referring to?

That actually looks like a good investment. Benks is easily becoming one of my favorite companies for accessories
