I have two of those. They are over 1mm thick and do not cover top or bottom chamfers.

What don't you like about them? The OP asked the thinnest case possible. The Feather have 1.23 mm of thinkness where it is already probably one of the thinnest case out there and the case looks very clean.

The incipio feather is quite nice, as mentioned by a previous member, it has a really nice soft finish on the back and there's an indent at the top that makes it super comfortable to hold.

I can vouch for this case. Looks nice on the Gold iPhone

Well the cases I'm looking at are purely for scratch protection. I'm talking .2mm to .4mm thin.. They're almost like paper, but are awesome for sliding my phone onto a table or in the car when I'm on the move.

I've had my iPhone 5 for a little over 6 months now and it's spent its entire life inside an otterbox. Considering the average day in the life of my phone (and the difficulty using the new quick settings menu in iOS 7) I've decided to scale back on the case situation. I already have a Moshi iVisor installed and want to get a super thin case (ala Desmay etc). After reading up on the options, I have come to the conclusion the the Caudabe Veil should fit my needs. Only one problem: Amazon and Caudabe are sold out. Does this happen often? Does anyone have any clue as to how long this outage might last?

While researching (ie reading how horrible Desmay is), I came up with a number of requirements for my next case Caudabe or not:

-Must have as much edge coverage as possible (sides only is unacceptable)
-Must be below .6mm in thickness
-Must NOT have a clip on plate (like the Spigen slim armor)

It's a shame about Desmay because the design is exactly what I want. Unfortunately, between reports of widespread quality control issues and numerous reports of bad customer service and other problems I can't bring myself to do that one.

Just bought the Spigen SGP Slim Armor in red. Also bought a blue and orange back to switch it up a bit. Can't wait to get them! The blue incase is what I have at the moment. Hideous I know, but I needed something while I got what I wanted.

for the spg armor series is the top and bottom of the case rubber?

Again, you can't have a list of slim cases without mentioning the Noot T5.

Maybe not the slimmest, but I'm currently using the SPIGEN SGP Neo Hybrid - and it is definitely the best case I've ever had for an iPhone!

A lot slimmer and lighter than my old case (which was also a SPIGEN SGP), and I also use their Glass Screen Protectors - which are also amazing!

What is the back materiel made of? Is it metal or rubberized? I really like the looks of this case.

Just received my gray Magpul in the mail. I must say, it's by far the best case I've ever owned. It feels sturdy enough to give me a peace of mind and yet it feels slim at the same time.

Plus it was only $10 bucks. Can't beat that.

1 vote for Magpul.

Theres the SGP Saturn, or a cheap eBay 0.2mm ~ 0.5mm Cases as well.

I have the Saturn in hand and waiting for the 0.2mm & air jacket to arrive.

Elago S5 Outfit Matrix

I've been using Elago cases on my 4S and have both the Matrix (in camo green) and a black S5 Slim sitting here waiting for my 5S to arrive. They are slim, soft, and perfectly minimal, and they hold up well over time. Of course, they offer no drop protection at all, but that's not what you buy them for.

Combine that with my Moshi pouch...and I'm good to go.

I just purchased a case from buypeel.com. I'm waiting for it to arrive in the next day or two. I think they ship from San Francisco, which is local for me.

I just picked up a Caudabe Veil. They're both in stock on Amazon and on their website last I checked.

I actually had the Caudabe previously for my iPhone 5. It was OK, but I moved on to a thicker case. Then my buddy picked up a Caudabe for his 5s and they have clearly improved the case. The texture is a lot nicer than it was before and the fit seemed perfect. It looks and feels really nice. Great case for those who like to keep their phones looking professional.
