Hi all looking for suggestions for the slimmest iPhone 17 real leather case available. Currently use a Mujjo case for my iPhone 15 but I don't like the branding. I would prefer there is no logo/brand visible. Willing to pay for quality. Any suggestions please?

Don't know how slim it is compared to the Mujjo, but Ryan London has great quality and minimal branding. Just a very small brand on the lower left side.

I like Lonli leather cases. I’ve had them in my 12 pro and 15 pro for years. About as thin as leather cases get
Looking at the Lonli leather case listings on Amazon, they say "Keep your phone case away from rough materials like denim to prevent peeling." As someone who puts their phone in the back pocket of their jeans, is this really a problem?

I've been using an Apple leather case with my 14 Pro, with no problems. Granted, I do alternate with other cases. But I've used Apple leather cases with previous phones as well and have never experienced this issue.

ive used lonli cases for years in jeans and dropped them many times. I’ve never had an incident of the leather failing like the ones from Apple used to.

Thanks! I have apparently been very easy on the Apple leather cases - mine have always lasted the 2 - 3 years I kept the phone (but then again, I do rotate through at least a couple cases). Sounds like the Lonli cases should work well for me.

Bandwerk is the best for leather cases. Very high quality, maintain their color, and last a long time. Plus their colors are on point.

I purchased the leather back in black from Nomad. This will hopefully keep the thin nature of the phone. If not, it's going back.

My nomad leather back arrived today. I’ve attached it to my pro Max 16 the magnets are really strong and yes it’s very thin and hardly adds anything to the phone.

Yeah, I have on my 16PM and I like it, but the brown does not weather well. They call it patina but I see lifting. Still, it nice and light-weight. My previous post was in reference to the Air.

Same experience here. I got a lot of color transfer to my MagSafe wallet, and a lot of wear around the ring that doesn’t re-blend in with new oil + rubbing. It looks like it’s shedding dye or layers, unlike any Horween stuff I’ve had in the past.

I’m trying it again with the Air, assuming the added thickness isn’t too unwieldy, because the *texture* is still fantastic and my fingers can’t feel the worn spots. But I’d check expectations just because it says Horween.

Once the air is here I will ask Nomad for a credit instead of a replacement for the 16PM one. The Air version is not shipping to oct so I hope I can apply it there

Got the Mujjo case and really regret it. The camera control button is a cut out instead of a button overlay - really don't like the feel! Apparently they have a proper button for iphone 17 pros but not the regular iphone 17.

Back to the drawing board... I would actually try a tech woven case but again only for the Pros.

Regarding Lonli leather cases and peeling. Unfortunately they do. Have a lonli case in use for my air. Within a week the left side below (next to the usb port) has started to peel off a little. Maybe because I was not careful enough with my fingernails or the denim pants scratched it. Not sure about durability in the long run.

Likely a Wiiuka (German brand) case is ordered. Kind of Ryan London case but then made in Germany. Good alternative since RL doesn’t ship to then Netherlands.

Thanks, will try Wiiuka. Not sure I like the pattern on the leather - just want it plain, but looks slim and want a proper button. this cut out on the camera control is driving me nuts

This is my 15 pro Wiiuka case after using it for two years. Really soft leather (nubuck like). I can really recommend them, but don’t have the Air case of them yet. So a little caution is advised.

Bellroy is by far the slimmest real leather case I've found. Once I discovered them I haven't gone back to anything else. It makes Andar or Ryan London seem thick

I got a lonli case for my 17PM, it's really pretty and feels really nice, I love the buttons... but it weighs 40g and turning a 236g phone into a 276g phone is a bit much for me lol.

I'm not actually sure what to do, then. I don't normally use cases on my phones! I thought I'd try it this time around because I don't want the phone to get ruined, but dang..

I had the Belemay Horse Leather (awful buttons), Lonli, and Belroy. All went back for one reason or another (mostly poor fit along the bottom of the phone or in Belroys case poor fit along most of the phone.). I dont like how the Belroy has a polymer front on their real leather case. I wasn’t able to try their fake leather aka plastic , but I don’t think that case uses the polymer on the front.

Best case I’ve tried for the 17 Pro is the Andar Aspen, but dont love the company. Good luck!

Hmm the lonli edition seems to fit mine ok? Like the bottom edge of the usb-c port hole has a tiny imperfection but no deal breakers. It's actually a lot better than I thought it'd be. My beef is it just makes the phone 40g heavier and a little bit bigger, when it was already at the threshold of big-n-heavy that I was willing to tolerate LOL. More of a problem with me, not a problem with the case lol.

@TheKerremenke thank you for the tip!! Just received the Wiiuka case today and is exactly what I’m looking for! Real leather, Slim profile, and a proper button on camera control - would buy again!
Is the bottom covered and are the buttons inside the case where they touch the phone, are they lined with rubber or microfiber? Metal buttons on my previous case scratched the actual phones buttons.
