I'm thinking of getting a Slingbox so i can watch TV on multiple Computers without having to buy separate TV Tuners for each computer. I'm wondering on a mac what percentage of your CPU will slingplayer use? I think it sort of defeats the purpose if the fans will be blaring full speed from high CPU Usage. Thanks.

I'd like to know this as I'm in the exact same position as the OP (thinking of purchasing).

Thanks.

Honestly, I don't even notice it running on my macbook pro 2.2ghz. I keep it in its separate space on mute all the time when im not watching it. My slingbox at home is disconnected at the moment due to router issues, so I can't get the exact numbers, but it isn't really much.
