Slooooooow Safari

Anyone having issues with Safari? It either opens a web page instantly, or takes ages (like walk away and come back and it’s still loading the page up) or it doesn’t open at all and I have to click that bookmark again to get Safari to open it up it’s really frustrating, it happens when phone is using data OR WiFi, I downloaded opera to see if that’s any better and it flies through opening websites without any lag. I’ve been into settings and cleared website data and history other than that I’m tempted to use opera full time.

IOS 18.0.1
I have the AdGuard extension, I did wonder about this but I’ve been using AdGuard for years with no problems as I can’t stand ads when reading articles, you think AdGuard isn’t optimised for IOS 18 yet?

I have noticed Safari is slow on all my Apple devices recently, and turning private relay of helped.

I’ve just googled it and definitely not using private relay

Delete/disable AdGuard and see what happens. Extensions can mess things up from time to time.

Okay, it could have been a problem with that. And of course not, not everyone uses either private relay or iCloud for that matter
